Guilin Lijia has applied for the first RCEP certificate of origin at Guilin in 2023
- To provide important support for expanding exports.
To further enhance market competitiveness, Guilin Lijia Metals CO., LTD applied for the RCEP Certificate of Origin on January 3, honored to be the first RCEP Certificate of Origin issued by Guilin Customs in 2023. Since RCEP came into effect, tariffs have been reduced, and trade facilitation levels have been improved, so certificates of origin have been favored, effectively helping Guilin Lijia Company to open the RCEP regional market, and the number of customer inquiries and trade volume has achieved double growth. Last year, with the RCEP certificate of origin applied to customs, the tariff rate of copper pipes exported by Guilin Lijia Company to Japan was reduced from 3% to 2.5%, and there is room for further tax reduction. Japanese customers have tasted the sweetness and continue to increase orders this year. The implementation of RCEP has provided important support for Guilin Lijia to expand exports, and just recently successfully developed a large customer in Vietnam.
